Bostic's Lawn & Landscaping

About Bostic's Lawn & Landscaping

Out at the eastern edge of Brownstown Township the land gives up and becomes marsh, and every autumn the sky over Lake Erie Metropark fills with hawks riding the shoreline south. Bostic's Lawn & Landscaping works the ground beneath that flyway, mowing, trimming and edging through the long green months on the flat lake plain, then plowing and clearing snow once the wind turns and comes in off the water. There is one kind of satisfaction in a lawn cut clean to the line of the walk, and another entirely in a driveway opened while the streetlights are still on. Brownstown's clay holds water and holds cold, so this is patient work by nature. From the subdivisions off Telegraph out to the quieter lanes near Gibraltar and Rockwood, the aim stays the same: a property that looks cared for from the road.
