Salek Excavating

About Salek Excavating

A Branch County farm lane can run a quarter mile from the road to the house, and in February that distance is the whole story. Salek Excavating clears it — plowing the length of the drive, opening the turnaround and the walk to the door, salting the places that glaze over after sundown. Storms roll down out of the northwest across ground with nothing to slow them, so the same lane may need working more than once before the sky is finished with it. When it is done the place looks reachable again, which in the middle of a Michigan winter counts for a great deal. Snow work for Bronson and the farms and homes spread around it.
