About TK's Service

Winter in Lima has no windbreak. Snow crosses the open fields along M-52 and stacks itself against the first thing it meets, which is usually somebody's driveway. TK's Service pushes it back — drives, farm lanes and parking areas, walkways shoveled by hand, salt where slope and shade conspire. The best hour of the job is the one before anybody is awake: headlights, the scrape and turn, blade down, a clean lane behind. Then the sun comes up on a township that can get where it is going.
