You can still read the old farm lines around Brighton — a lilac hedge marking a dooryard that is long gone, a fencerow of black locust running out behind a cul-de-sac. Frontier Landscaping works that seam where field became neighborhood, mowing the wide back lots and keeping the wild edge from creeping in. Late August is the real test: grass gone tough, weeds standing tall along the tree line, everything wanting one more pass before the light goes.
