Foster Inc

About Foster Inc

Brighton's downtown wraps around its Mill Pond, and on a January morning the pond lies white and still while the town wakes up around it. Foster Inc clears snow in Brighton, opening driveways and walks so the day can start on time. This is a commuter town at the crossing of two big highways, and nobody wants to lose twenty minutes digging out a buried car. The pleasure of the work is in the before-and-after: a drift-choked drive at five o'clock, then a clear lane with the banks stacked neatly out of the way. Through the long gray months of a Livingston County winter, that before-and-after repeats storm by storm.
