About Bloom and Weed LLC

The first real sound of a Brighton spring comes from the low ground — kettle ponds letting go of their ice, then peepers going all night from the cattails behind the subdivisions. Bloom and Weed LLC starts its year about then, raking winter out of the beds, pulling the first weeds while they still come up easy, and putting a cut on grass that has been waiting since November. Through summer it is mowing, trimming, mulch renewed around the perennials and the beds kept honest. The pleasure is all in the contrast: dark mulch, one sharp bed line, grass mowed even from corner to corner. Yards from Brighton out to Hamburg and Green Oak, kept from thaw to leaf drop.
