Lawn Troopers

About Lawn Troopers

June evenings run long over Little Bay de Noc — light still on the water at nine, and the birch along the shore roads holding it a while longer. Lawn Troopers uses that stretched daylight, mowing and trimming through the Upper Peninsula's short, generous growing weeks around Brampton township. Edges get cut where turf meets sand and gravel, which is most edges out here. Spring cleanup lifts off whatever the long winter pressed flat, and fall cleanup takes the birch and maple leaf down ahead of the first hard freeze. Homes and camps in Brampton township, Escanaba and Wells.
