About Anderson lawn and maintenance

Deer Lake holds the sky flat at seven in the morning, and that is about when Anderson lawn and maintenance likes to begin — dew burning off, the first pass laid down straight across a Boyne City yard. Mowing here means working around white pine roots and the long, patient slope that so many properties north of town seem to keep. There is real satisfaction in a trimmed line along a gravel drive that looks drawn rather than cut. When the maples let go, the cleanups start, and bagfuls of red and gold go out before the ground turns hard. It is ordinary work done carefully, on the same handful of roads, week after week.
