Parker Lawn & Landscape

About Parker Lawn & Landscape

In Blumfield Township the land lies flat and the sky takes up most of it — beet and corn ground running to a horizon broken only by a windbreak or a barn roof. A lawn out here is a green square set against all that black Saginaw Valley loam, and Parker Lawn & Landscape keeps its corners true: mowed on a set rotation, trimmed around posts and downspouts, edged where turf meets concrete. Summer heat sits heavy over the fields by afternoon, so the passes start early and the stripes run long. In fall the leaves go from the yard before the first hard freeze locks them down. Plain work, done in full view of the whole township, which is reason enough to do it square.
