Two seasons run this township, and Legendary Outdoor Services LLC works both ends of them. In January an ice storm can glaze Adams Road and every driveway off it, and the answer is plowing, shoveling the front walk down to bare concrete, and salting the shaded slopes that never catch sun. By July the same properties near Hickory Grove want mowing on a schedule and edges that hold their line against the beds. Trading the plow for the mower each spring is its own small pleasure — the ground softens, the smell changes, and the work turns green. What stays constant is the standard: pavement clear, grass even, nothing left behind on the walk.
