The Snow Bros

About The Snow Bros

Snow can arrive sideways as often as straight down, driven across open ground until it piles in long drifts against the fence lines and the mouths of driveways. The Snow Bros are out in it early, headlights moving along the roads while the houses are still dark. Plowing driveways and lots, shoveling steps and walkways, salting the places where ice sets up in the shade of a barn or on the north side of a porch. A drive opened before sunrise is a small thing that changes a whole day — the car goes out, the school run happens, nobody stands in the wind with a shovel. They work storm by storm and season long, and they come back for the drift the wind rebuilt by noon.
