Neighborhood Landscapes

About Neighborhood Landscapes

Winter evenings near the lakes on the west side of Bloomfield Hills come on fast — the water goes pewter, the roads narrow between banks, and the streets here have no curbs to tell you where the pavement ends. Neighborhood Landscapes plows with that in mind, finding the true edge of a drive and holding it so the lawn comes through April unmarked. Snow is placed where it will not block a sightline at the road, and the front walk is opened straight to the door rather than merely dented. Where the ice keeps returning at the low spot, it gets treated instead of argued with. Street by street, the neighborhood simply keeps working.
