The River Raisin bends through the middle of Blissfield, past the depot and the old brick storefronts, and the lawns along it green up early in a Lenawee County spring. Bill's Service mows those yards — village lots, corner properties, the deep back yards that run down toward the water — cutting even, trimming close, and sweeping the walks at the end. Doing it right means a yard that looks intentional from the sidewalk. Summers here are humid and generous and the grass never really slows, so the route keeps coming back around. In November the leaves off the street maples are cleared away and the season closes out tidy.
