About Lawn Care by Grass Roots

Barnum Park greens up early, and by the first week of June the whole neighborhood around it has caught up with it. Lawn Care by Grass Roots works those blocks with the ordinary tools — mower, trimmer, edger, blower — on a weekly turn that keeps a yard from ever getting away from anyone. Cleanups come at the shoulders of the year, spring and fall, when a lawn needs clearing more than cutting. Under Birmingham's turf lies heavy Michigan clay that holds a wet spring far too well, so the work reads the ground as much as the grass. Done right, the yard simply looks even and clean from the sidewalk.
