About Green Thumb Lawn & Turf Specialists

By the middle of May the lawns around the Ferris State campus decide all at once to grow, and Big Rapids turns a green so bright it seems lit from underneath. Green Thumb Lawn & Turf Specialists spends those weeks with the mower running from morning into the long blue evening — cutting, trimming close around porch steps and mailbox posts, edging the sidewalks that students and neighbors both wear smooth. Turf here sits on sandy old pine-country ground, and it answers to attention: even cutting, tidy borders, clippings blown off the walk before anyone leaves. Spring and fall bring the cleanups that bracket all of it. The work shows up as a yard that makes somebody slow down on their way past.
