About Consumers Investments

Before the storefronts along Main Street in Benton Harbor unlock for the day, the lots out front have to be open. Consumers Investments takes care of that end of things — plowing drives and parking areas, clearing walks, and, when the season turns, mowing, trimming, edging and cleanups on the same properties. Lake-effect snow can come down all night on a northwest wind and leave a whole block drifted by six in the morning. Beating that clock, so people step out of their cars onto clean pavement, is the job. In summer the work is quieter and the standard is identical: even grass, tidy borders, nothing left lying on the sidewalk.
