Abel Tree Service and Snowplowing

About Abel Tree Service and Snowplowing

Out here on the Monroe County lakeplain the land lies open most of the way to Lake Erie, and a west wind can build a drift across a driveway in the time it takes to make coffee. Abel Tree Service and Snowplowing works that flat, windy country in winter, clearing snow for homes and businesses around Bedford Charter Township. There is a real satisfaction in pulling into a farmhouse turnaround at four in the morning and leaving it a clean rectangle of pavement, fence line to garage door. Banks get pushed back far enough that the next blow has somewhere to go instead of filling everything in again. By the time the school buses swing down the section roads, the way out is already open.
