About Lawn Boys, Inc.

Bangor sits in blueberry country, where the fields run out to the horizon in July and the Kal-Haven Trail crosses town on its way from Kalamazoo to the lake. Yards here take that same sandy fruit-growing ground and ask it to hold turf, which means mowing on a rhythm, edging where grass meets a gravel drive, trimming clean along fence posts and porch skirts. September brings cleanup, since the leaves come down nearly all at once when the first cold front swings in off the water. Then the plows go on: driveways opened, walkways cleared by hand, ice salted through a Van Buren County winter. Same properties, same list, right through the turn of the year.
