The Wadhams-to-Avoca trail comes up out of the fields and ends right here, cinders underfoot and hardwoods standing close on both sides. DaVinci Lawns keeps the yards along these roads all the way around the calendar. Warm months it is mowing on a set day, trimming, borders cut, beds cleaned up and the clippings gone; cold months it is plowing drives, clearing walks and putting salt down where the ice sets up hard. Kenockee Township weather does not negotiate — a green August week can put four inches on a lawn, and a February wind can rebuild a drift you cleared at daybreak. Doing both halves means the same place looks looked-after in July and in January, which is the whole idea.
