Turner's Greenscape

About Turner's Greenscape

Ann Arbor earned the nickname Tree Town honestly, and beneath all that canopy the lawns have to work for their light. Turner's Greenscape mows, edges and trims in yards where oak and maple shade shifts by the hour, keeping the grass even from the sunny front strip to the dim corner by the garage. In late spring, when the peonies open in Nichols Arboretum and the whole college town seems to step outside, a just-mown lawn is a household's own small contribution to the show. Stripes laid straight, trimmings swept off the walk, the line along the curb drawn clean as a ruled page. When the work is done the grass looks rested, as if it had spent the afternoon reading beside the Huron River.
