About Rescue Lawn Care Services

Every summer some yard on the southeast side gets away from its owner — a trip, a hard month, a mower that quit in June — and by mid-July it stands knee-high out near Cobblestone Farm. Rescue Lawn Care Services takes those on: bringing an overgrown lawn back down in stages, then trimming, edging and clearing the debris until the property looks like itself again. After that comes the ordinary discipline of a weekly mow, plus the spring and fall cleanups that keep the situation from repeating. Ann Arbor grows fast and forgives slowly, so the first cut is the dramatic one and the tenth is the one that counts. Watching a yard come back is a fine way to spend an afternoon.
