Lilly's Lawn & Snow

About Lilly's Lawn & Snow

Saturday mornings in Kerrytown start early, and so does this one. Lilly's Lawn & Snow keeps yards on the near north side going through the warm months — weekly mowing, trimming, edging, and the spring and fall cleanups that bookend them — then swaps the deck for a blade when the first real storm comes down out of the northwest. Winter mornings mean drives cleared and walks shoveled while the brick storefronts are still dark, salt on the steps, everything passable before the day asks anything of anyone. The pleasure of it is arriving before the problem does. Ann Arbor is a town of small properties and particular people, and both are worth doing right by.
