About DJ's Landscape Management

A parking lot at one in the morning during a storm is its own kind of workplace — sodium light, snow coming down through it, and the long straight pushes that must be finished before the first car turns in. DJ's Landscape Management runs snow work across Ann Arbor: plowing lots and drives, opening walkways and entrances, laying salt along the routes people actually walk. The craft is in stacking the piles where they won't blow back or flood a doorway at the thaw, and that gets decided storm by storm. Michigan hands out everything from a wet six-inch dump to a week of squalls, and the answer is always the same — start early, stay ahead of it. By daybreak the place should look as though nothing happened at all.
