DC Lawn & Snow

About DC Lawn & Snow

On a clear February night in Lodi Township the fields hold enough moonlight to read by, and the cold makes the snow squeak under a boot. DC Lawn & Snow works those gravel-road drives — plowing them open, shoveling the walks, spreading salt at the doors and along the pitch where a car has to find its grip. Half a year later the same properties are green and putting on an inch a week, and the mowers come out for the weekly cut, the trimming, the edges, the cleanups that bracket the season. Country lots are big and honest; there is nowhere for a sloppy pass to hide on an acre of open turf. That suits the way this crew likes to leave a place when the gate swings shut.
