A2Z Lawn Services

About A2Z Lawn Services

South of Ann Arbor the land lets go of its hills and opens into the flat, wind-combed acreage of Pittsfield, where a lawn can run long and unbroken toward a distant treeline. A2Z Lawn Services mows those wide stretches in August, when grass leaps after a thunderstorm and the air smells like cut clover for an hour afterward. Trimming, edging and hauling off what the cut leaves behind all happen in the same visit, so nothing is left for the wind to redistribute. When the year tips over and the first clipper drops down out of the northwest, the same trucks reappear with plows and open the drives and walks before the school buses roll. One outfit, both halves of the calendar, the whole way around from A to Z.
