About Tomcheck Landscaping LLC

The jack pines out along Norway Ridge hold their needles while everything else lets go, so October in Alpena becomes a slow rain of maple and oak that keeps coming for weeks. Tomcheck Landscaping LLC works that end of the year hard — leaf cleanup, beds cut back, the lawn taken down to a length that will winter well — after a full run of mowing, trimming and edging that came before it. Sandy ground drains fast up here, and a lawn given consistent attention still comes out of April looking like a lawn. The last cleanup has a satisfying finality to it, the yard bare and swept and ready for whatever comes next.
