About Mader's Lawn Care & Landscaping

On a May afternoon at Island Park the river comes over the dam loud and cold, and the grass on the bank carries that first impossible green that only lasts a few weeks. Mader's Lawn Care & Landscaping chases that green all season across Alpena — mowing on a dependable rotation, trimming tight to foundations and fence lines, edging beds and walks, cleaning up in spring and again in fall. Landscape maintenance is mostly repetition done attentively: the same yard, the same week, a little sharper each time. The result shows up at the curb, where a crisp border and an even cut make a house look looked-after. Nothing showy about it, and that is exactly the appeal.
