Gabe’s Lawn Care

About Gabe’s Lawn Care

Saturday morning in the township sounds like small engines and screen doors, everybody out at once making their piece of the street look like somebody lives there. Gabe's Lawn Care is part of that sound — mowing, trimming close along foundations and fences, blowing the walks clear so nothing gets tracked inside. The smell of cut grass on a warm Alpena morning is one of the plain pleasures of the year, and it never gets old. When the season turns, the same yards get plowed out, drives cleared and widened so the mail and the morning both get through. Neat in summer, passable in winter — that is the whole idea.
