Groot Lawn Care

About Groot Lawn Care

On April mornings the fog lifts off the Grand River at the township's north edge and lingers in the low ground toward Eastmanville until the sun finds it. That is the season Groot Lawn Care waits for — the mud firming up, the first cut of the year taking the winter matting off a lawn and letting it breathe. From there it is a steady rhythm of mowing, trimming and edging right through the humid middle of summer. Once the river runs cold again the work turns to plowing driveways and salting the walk so the door is reachable at any hour. A yard kept this way never looks fussed over; it just looks right.
