About Small Acres Lawncare, LLC

Adrian township wraps around the city the way a field wraps a farmhouse — the River Raisin slipping through town, and beyond it corn, hay and the long straight roads of Lenawee County. Small Acres Lawncare, LLC mows the yards out on that edge, where a half-acre of grass meets a fencerow and the cutting has to stop somewhere clean. Summer mornings here come up heavy with river damp; by afternoon the wind moves the corn and dries the clippings to dust. The work is mowing, trimming, edging and seasonal cleanup, sized to whatever the place happens to be. What lasts is the look of it from the mailbox — the stripes lined up, the border cut true along the drive.
