Robinson's Lawn and Landscaping

About Robinson's Lawn and Landscaping

At first light in February the River Raisin runs black between white banks, and the Kiwanis Trail is a single unbroken seam of snow. Robinson's Lawn and Landscaping is out before that, pushing driveways back to their edges and cutting walks down to bare concrete so the morning can happen on schedule. By April the same properties want something else entirely — mowing, trimming, the winter's grit raked out of the beds and carried off. Snow work and lawn work turn into one long habit here: know the property, know where the drift piles and where the shade keeps the grass thin. There is real pride in a drive plowed clean to the pavement while the town is still dark, and in an August lawn edged so sharp it looks drawn.
