About Adrian Professional Services

At four in the morning in January, downtown Adrian holds a particular hush — brick fronts along Maumee Street, one streetlight burning through the fall of it, snow arriving so evenly it seems to have been arriving forever. Adrian Professional Services works that hour, plowing lots and drives and cutting walkways down to pavement so the first person out the door in the dark finds a clear line to the car. Lenawee County winter comes two ways here: the patient overnight accumulation, and the wind that packs everything hard against the north-facing curbs. Salt goes down where the day's melt would otherwise set into a sheet by evening. By the time the sun comes up gray over the River Raisin, the work is already behind them, and the town simply opens on time.
