Prout's Property Maintenance

About Prout's Property Maintenance

Down at the mouth of the Royal River the boats are hauled by February and the flats freeze grey between tides. Prout's Property Maintenance is out working in that cold — opening driveways, clearing paths to the door, spreading sand on the pitch of a hill street so the mail can make it up. When the ice lets go and the river runs brown with meltwater, the mowers come out and the winter's mess gets swept away. Grass work in the warm months, snow work in the cold, all on the same list of Yarmouth addresses. Two climates, one set of properties looked after right the way through.
