About Clean Up Group NE

Storms come up Route 202 out of the southwest, and East Winthrop usually hears one before it sees it — a shift in the wind off the open fields, then the first fine grains ticking against the windows. Clean Up Group NE works those nights: driveways plowed open, walkways and steps cleared by hand, sand and salt laid down where the grade turns slick. The route runs from the last flake through to first light, so a car can back out at six with nothing to argue with. Winter here isn't one event but a long series of them, and each one gets the same full pass. What a customer sees in the morning is simply a clean drive and a clear path to the door, which is the entire point of the night.
