About J & K Sporting Goods

Midsummer at Trap Corner, the air is full of cut grass and the heat sits down in the hollows until evening. J & K Sporting Goods keeps West Paris lawns on an even keel through it — mowing at a height that holds up in a dry August, trimming where a mower cannot reach, edging drives and paths so the border stays honest. Spring cleanups pull the winter grit out of the turf; autumn ones take the maple leaves off the lawn before they turn to mat. Seeding and feeding get done when the ground is ready for them rather than by the calendar. There is real pleasure in the last pass of the day, the yard laid out even and the light going gold over the ridges.
