West Gardiner keeps two calendars — one measured in mowings, the other in storms — and Wisdom Landscape LLC works them both. Summer is the long green stretch: mowing on schedule, trimming around posts and stone, edges cut so a lawn reads sharp from the road, and cleanups at either end of the growing season. Then the pond fog hardens into frost and the same trucks come back with plows, opening drives, clearing walks, laying sand where the slope catches ice. The turn from one to the other usually happens overnight, somewhere in a November week. Both halves come down to the same thing: showing up, and leaving a place better set than it was found.
