About Carney & Sons LLC.

At Head of Falls the Kennebec goes loud over the ledges, and up on the bank the grass takes off the moment June warms the ground. Carney & Sons LLC. handles the lawn side of that river town: weekly mowing, trimming, edging along walks and driveways, mulch worked into the beds, and the leaf work that comes due when October empties the maples. A good cut here is a straight one — even height, sharp borders, nothing torn or scalped on the slope running down toward the water. Yards are looked after in Waterville, Winslow, Fairfield and Vassalboro. It is ordinary work, done in a place that has never been ordinary.
