About MW Lawncare

In Washburn the sky is most of the view — potato ground rolling away to the treeline, the Aroostook River off to the east, Salmon Brook threading down through town. Summer arrives late and works fast this far north, and MW Lawncare works right along with it: mowing on a tight rotation, trimming the edges, clearing what the long winter left behind and putting the yard back together again in the fall. County grass is a hardy thing; give it a sharp blade and a steady week-to-week and it comes in thick. The satisfaction is the same one the farmers know — a piece of ground that looks looked-after from the road. When the blossoms go by in July and the whole plain turns white and green, a mown yard belongs in that picture.
