About Soule's property services

Vinalhaven is an island, and that changes everything: the fog comes in over Carver's Harbor without asking, and whatever you need has to have come across on the boat. Soule's property services mows, trims and edges the lawns out here — village yards above the harbor, camps back near the old granite quarries, houses at the end of long spruce-lined drives. Island grass grows in salt air and thin soil over ledge, and it takes a regular hand to keep it even. Spring cleanups clear the winter's blown spruce and seaweed; fall cleanups strip the leaves before the storms get serious. On a clear day, lawn just cut and the water going blue past Lane's Island, the work explains itself.
