Bold Coast Climbers does the mowing, trimming and yard cleanup here, for homes set among beach roses and pink granite. Fog slips in and out all summer, and the grass loves it, staying green and growing steadily well into August. A freshly cut lawn above the harbor, trimmed tight around the granite steps, makes a cottage look like it belongs on a postcard. When evening comes and Bass Harbor Head Light shines out from its cliff, the yard is ready for a lawn chair and the last of the light.
