Swett's Landscaping

About Swett's Landscaping

By the middle of October the oaks above Standish have gone deep rust and the maples have already let go, and every lawn in town disappears under a foot of somebody else's tree. Swett's Landscaping does the long haul of that season — raking, blowing, hauling — alongside the mowing, trimming and edging that fill the months ahead of it. A yard cleared of leaves in late fall has a particular bare dignity, greener than anyone expects, and it goes under the snow clean. Standish is generous with its trees and therefore generous with the work. Swett's takes it as it comes, week by week, straight through to the end of the season.
