Skowhegan opens early. Before the lights come on along Madison Avenue somebody has to make the lots usable, and Advantage Property Solutions LLC is out in the dark doing it — plowing parking areas and driveways, stacking snow where it will not blind a turn, sanding the aprons where every car brakes. In summer the same properties get the other half of the attention: mowing, trimming, cleanups in spring and again when the leaves come down over the Kennebec. A cleared lot at seven in the morning is a business that can open its doors; a mown and edged frontage in July is a building that looks tended. Two seasons, one habit — get there first and leave it right.
