Sedgwick lives on that view and on the tide climbing the Benjamin River twice a day. Meadowsweet Tree & Landscape tends the ground beneath it: mowing and trimming through the long green weeks, raking beds open in spring, carrying off the leaf fall when the light goes low over Sargentville in November. Come winter the same properties want plowing — the drives that run down toward the water, the turnarounds, the path to the door cleared before the coffee is poured. A peninsula makes a person patient, and the work here is mostly keeping a beautiful place easy to live in.
