Out on Black Point the land narrows toward Prouts Neck, ocean on three sides, the light doing something different every hour of the day. TA Property Maintenance mows and keeps lawns along those roads and back through Dunstan, holding the grass even where salt air and sandy soil keep trying to make it patchy. When the season flips, the trucks go out plowing driveways and clearing walks, often before the coast has finished deciding whether it's rain or snow. There's a real stillness on the peninsula after a storm — everything muffled, and one dark stripe of open driveway running down to the road. Putting that stripe there before sunrise is most of the job.
