About Maineway Landscaping & Excavation

Down at Camp Ellis the wind comes straight off the river mouth, and when it turns truly cold the sea smoke rises off the water. Maineway Landscaping & Excavation is out in that weather, plowing driveways and lots, clearing walkways, sanding and salting the places the wind has scoured to glass. Storms rolling up the coast can drop wet snow and then blow it back across an open drive twice before morning. So the work happens in passes, and it is not done until there is ground showing. There is genuine reward in an opened drive at dawn with the light coming up pink over the water.
