About Top Notch Tree Service, LLC

In January the Androscoggin steams below the falls at Rumford and the cold settles into the valley for weeks at a time, and the old street trees above the mill carry every bit of that weight. Top Notch Tree Service, LLC works those tight lots — removals rigged down piece by piece where there is no room to drop anything, trimming that keeps a crown off the eaves, pruning that leaves a hardwood balanced for the next wind. Storm damage cleanup on these hillside streets means brush out through a narrow yard and a sidewalk walkable before the school buses run. From Black Mountain down to the Ellis River the trees grow fast and heavy, and there is pride in leaving a place steadier than the storm found it. Rumford, Mexico, Dixfield, Peru, Andover and Roxbury.
