About Varney Bros Lawn Care

September light in The County comes in low and gold, the fields turning color as the harvest gets underway and the mornings start to bite. Varney Bros Lawn Care keeps mowing right through it, because a Presque Isle lawn grows late and slow in that cool air and rewards a final few cuts. Then the season closes properly: the last low pass, the leaves cleared off, the edges tightened up before the ground goes hard. Spring reverses the order, with the winter grit raked back and the first cut taken while the soil is still soft. Between those two bookends is a summer of steady weekly mowing and trimming, all of it inside one short northern year.
