Spring reaches North Deering slowly — a rim of gray snow along the north side of the fence long after the lawn at Payson Park has gone soft and green. Little Lion Landscape Design meets both ends of that: mowing, trimming, edging and cleanups once the ground firms up, and plowing, shoveling and salting once it locks again. A design instinct shows in small choices, like where a bed line wants to curve and how wide to open a walk so two people can pass. Every yard in Portland has a shape it wants to be, and the work is finding it. Portland, Falmouth, Westbrook, Cumberland and South Portland are all on the route.
