About Heart Stone Maine, LLC

Out along Stroudwater the old road still bends the way the river wanted it to, and the marsh on the Fore River side turns gold before anything else in Portland does. Heart Stone Maine, LLC works that quieter western edge of the city, mowing, trimming and shaping the ground around stone, root and grade. Yards here run to ledge and shade, and getting grass to hold means reading the land before starting the mower. Cleanups in spring and fall keep the beds clear and the lawn free of what fell on it, so the good growth has room. When the light drops low over the marsh and the last pass is cut, the place looks settled, as though it had always been that way.
