On Munjoy Hill the streets tip straight down toward the water, and a night of snow turns every one of them into a decision. Anything Goes handles the snow side of Portland: plowing driveways, clearing walks and steps by hand, and putting down salt or sand where the pitch demands it. The name is fair warning — a storm rarely arrives the way the forecast promised, and the job is whatever the morning actually needs. Under the Observatory the wind comes off Casco Bay with an edge, and the reward is a dooryard opened wide, edges square, before the neighborhood is awake. Service runs across Portland and into South Portland, Falmouth and Cape Elizabeth.
